Junior Project Engineer

We are currently experiencing strong organic growth, which is why we need to hire a junior project engineer.
What do we need?
- 2–3 years of experience as a project engineer.
- Experience in contract management within energy and industrial environments.
- Knowledge of norms and regulations applicable to the energy and industrial sector.
- Engineering degree.
- Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical components, installations and equipment used in a Biogas/Biomethane project.
- Professional AutoCad skills.
- Knowledge of waste regulations.
- Design of low/medium and high voltage projects in ATEX zones.
- Fire detection and extinguishing systems.
- MBA or higher degree is a plus.
- Minimum English B2 spoken and written.
- Driver's license.

What will your day-to-day duties and responsibilities be?
- Review and creation of 2D technical, electrical, and civil engineering drawings, as well as other technical documentation, in accordance with project requirements and Five Bioenergy’s policies.
- Design and specification of low/medium and high voltage projects, ATEX zone design, lighting, CCTV, fire protection systems and modifications to the complete project as required, both electrical and civil. You will also generate complete packages of documents and drawings. All this must be able to be integrated into PLC/SCADA and DCS systems.
- Application of lessons learned to optimize design and work processes for project development.
- Propose alternative solutions, evaluate them under various scenarios and quantify the costs.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers, evaluate proposals, attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and oversee the practical implementation of the project.
- Cooperate with engineering partners.
- Apply your knowledge of functionality, operability, and accessibility, while ensuring that the budget remains in line with the approved budget. You will work to ensure that contractors can build the project in accordance with Five Bioenergy’s standards.
